Product Focus – T-Sil Range
A product from THS’ T-sil range, using high lustre pigments and premium grades of HCR Silicone. The silicone’s in THS’ T-sil range exhibit visually superb and bright colours.
High Consistency Rubbers (HCR) contain a higher proportion of silicone when cured, and the resulting finish is tougher and generally more durable coating than Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR).
Silicone is a great all rounder for the thermal insulation market, giving good temperature, water, flame and ozone resistance, and this product in particular, is proof of what silicone can do!
THS Style 8007SR249 is;
FIRE RESISTANT – tested to EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009 – reaction to fire B-S1, d0*
OIL RESISTANT – tested to BS EN ISO 14419: 2010 – hydrocarbon resistance rating: 7
WATERPROOF – tested to BS EN 20811: 1992/ISO 811:1981 – avg. result 492 cm/H2O (Mbar)**
*B shows the reaction to fire, the second-best rating possible for a fabric, S1 shows the lowest smoke release possible and d0 shows there were no droplets from the fabric when subjected to fire.
**any product over 150cm/H2O can be classified as ‘waterproof’
