Additional Products

THS focuses primarily on the weaving and production of woven and coated textiles. Customers and end users typically transform these textiles into a variety of final products and will more often than not require a sewing machine. They will also often involve additional supplementary items too.

To enhance convenience for customers purchasing our main product line and to offer support for all associated materials, THS maintains a wide selection of additional items. This assortment features various sewing threads, metal and stainless-steel fasteners and fixings, as well as hook and loop options.

Fixings

THS offers a variety of lacing hooks, quilting pins, washers, D-rings, and eyelets that are readily available for use in thermal insulation jackets, valve covers, and PFP systems. Stainless Steel grades available are:

  • 304 – The most commonly used stainless steel, with a high rust resistance
  • 316 – a high grade of stainless steel, with a greater resistance to chlorides

Product Gauge SS grade available Specification
Lacing hooks 14GA 304 / 316 2.5” (62.5mm) / 4.5” (112.5mm) pin length
Lacing washers 14GA 304 / 316 1” (25mm) dia
D-rings 10GA 304 / 316 1” (25mm) dia

THS also offers different grades of metal, such as galvanised steel or nickel, please contact us if you have a specific enquiry.

Hook & Loop

Hook and loop fasteners offer an alternative for securing various jackets and covers. These fasteners are made from materials like nylon, stainless steel, or high-temperature thermoplastic (HTTP). They come in a range of widths starting from 25mm and are available in numerous colours, with grey and black being the most common options.

We only offer Fire Retardant (FR) varieties of hook and loop tape, as they are primarily used in high-temperature insulation and fire protection applications. Our THS FR hook and loop tape has been tested for its peel, shear, and tearing strength, ensuring it can withstand continuous use at temperatures of up to 150°C.

For high temperature applications exceeding 150°c there are 2 further options, stainless steel, or the intermediate temperature option of HTTP. THS’ HTTP hook and loop can withstand temperatures up to 260°c and has excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, ageing sunlight and abrasion.

THS Stainless Steel hook and loop tape is suitable for high temperature applications up to 1100°c.
